Feedback on the automation of accounting, management and tax accounting of the «Representative Office “LIMAK INSAAT SANAYI VE TICARET ANONIM SIRKETI” in Ukraine on the basis of the software “Trade enterprise management for Ukraine”

Limak Construction, has successfully completed many major projects of over $ 7 billion in total value including airports, ports, dams, irrigation systems, highways, hydroelectric power plants, industrial plants, oil and gas pipelines, building complexes, hotels and resorts. It is ranked in the world’s largest international construction companies list of Engineering News Record Magazine. The Istanbul New Airport Project, the 1915 Canakkale Bridge and the Malkara-Canakkale Motorway in Turkey and Kuwait International Airport, Volgograd International Airport in Russia are among the many projects currently undertaken.

In 2016, our company won an international tender for the “Completion of the construction of the metro in Dnipro”. In June 2016, we opened a representative office in Ukraine in the city of Dnepr and before us was the issue of accounting and tax accounting according to Ukrainian standards. For this task, we settled on a software “1C:Enterprise 8. Trade enterprise management for Ukraine” in the client-server version of work, since this product was most suitable for our needs. We also chose Microsoft SQL Server as the database server.

As an integrator, we chose Oleksandr Kravets, a member of the САБ public organization. Our choice was substantiated by a high level of competence in the field of setting and automating accounting tasks, as well as a wealth of experience working with foreign companies.

The following functions were automated: bank and cash, settlements with counterparties, inventory items, trading operations, manufacturing operations, fixed assets, intangible assets, payroll and personnel records, completion of the period, regulated reporting, tax accounting, management accounting.

The work was completed in October 2016 and the system was accepted into commercial exploitation. As a result, 5 workplaces automated. To date, we have already automated 7 workplaces.

This automation helped us to cope with the task.

We rated the implemented system by the following parameters (on a 5-point scale):

  • meeting our needs – 5 points;
  • usability – 5 points;
  • quality of САБ partner work – 5 points.

We can safely recommend that colleagues use this solution to automate accounting and tax accounting.
